ANNALISA SIAGURA, PH.D.

Dr. Siagura is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. She enjoys combining coaching approaches that are grounded in scientific foundations. She supports individuals in reaching their full potential by designing personalized coaching plans in collaboration with them. Overall, she believes the most effective coaching approach is to work together as a team with each client.
Dr. Siagura completed her internship at Girls Incorporated of Alameda County in Oakland providing assessment and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families who are facing multiple cultural stressors. She developed expertise as a therapist on PTSD, depression, parent-child conflict, suicidal ideation, and anxiety disorder. Over the last few years, she specialized in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) working with individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Substance Abuse, and Suicidal Ideation. Dr. Siagura also specialized in neuropsychological assessment at “La Sapienza University of Rome – Sant’Andrea Clinical Hospital” in Italy. She defended her Ph.D thesis with a research project in collaboration with the Psychiatry Department at the University of California San Diego investigating the thermal fluctuations and facial emotion expressions during a gambling task related to risk-taking behavior.
In her free time she enjoys writing, cinema, practicing Mindfulness, and made her first debut as a documentary film director in 2019 with “Italians By The Bay”.
