People often appear to have it all together on the surface, while feeling disconnected from themselves underneath it. My work is collaborative. Clients are active partners in understanding themselves more deeply, and I bring curiosity and care to what we uncover together. I meet people with warmth and a steady presence as they navigate life's hardest moments, whether that is untangling anxiety, grieving what has been lost, weathering a life transition, working through trauma, or finding their way through relationship struggles.

"You may not have all the answers right now, but you have the capacity to find them. That's what we'll do together."

I draw from psychodynamic, relational, CBT, and DBT approaches, shaping the work around what resonates most with each person. I create a space where people feel genuinely heard and validated, while also gently exploring the patterns that might be limiting them. My style is warm and grounded, with a willingness to be direct when it is useful. I believe in working from people's strengths even as we face what is difficult.

Much of my work is with adult professionals navigating anxiety, work-related stress, depression, PTSD and other trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. This includes the transition into early professional life and the identity questions that often come with it. Within that broader work, I have developed particular depth in three areas: in women's health, I work specifically with perinatal mental health, birth trauma, and postpartum depression; with older adults, I focus on the specific weight of aging, including shifting identity, accumulating losses, and a growing sense of isolation; and in trauma work, I focus on intergenerational and family trauma, racial and systemic trauma, and relational trauma.

Personal:

I've had the opportunity to live in Hong Kong and I'm fluent in Cantonese, which gave me a firsthand understanding of bicultural identity and the work of belonging across different communities. Outside the office, I play volleyball and badminton to keep me energized. I am an artist at heart and love to draw, paint, and sculpt with multiple mediums. Additionally, I enjoy reading fiction and playing board games. But more than any hobby, what stays with me is connection. A good conversation with people I care about is something I never get tired of.

I'd welcome the chance to connect and see if this feels like the right fit.
